Based in California, LoopmasterM uses various found materials as a launch pad into each new body of work, incorporating etching inks, gesso, acrylic house paint, oil, wax, tape, graphite, etc. as an “outside” system dictates. In her words, “When you live off a dirt road you learn that improvisation is a necessity and that everything has hidden potential…” Over multiple residencies, her work has progressed organically and continues to surprise with signature gestures and her unexpected juxtaposition of materials.
